2025 KUMFA Holiday Gift Drive

This is our 15th year organizing a holiday gift drive for the children of KUMFA. This year we sponsoring a total of 260 children! (Please note family #72 is for two children) In order to get all the gifts ordered and delivered before Santa arrives, we need to find donors by December 15th!!

HOW TO SPONSOR A KUMFA FAMILY:

1. First, decide which family you would like to sponsor. While sponsoring a gift is $50USD, due to the currency exchange rate, the Korean donation amount is just over 70,000KRW, so if you are sending your donation via Korean bank transfer, please send 70,000KRW. Thank you for your understanding.

2. Second, send an email to [email protected] saying which family you would like to sponsor a gift for (please provide the family number). This is important in order to ensure that we don’t duplicate sponsors for children. Please be sure to indicate your METHOD of donation in your email (see #3 below) so that receipt of your donation can be verified.

3. Third, you may send your donation in one of two ways: either send $50 to the KUMFA Paypal address, which is [email protected] (if your Paypal name is different from your email, please let me know in your email) OR if you are in Korea and don’t have Paypal, you may also transfer 70,000 KRW to: Shinhan Bank (신한은행) Account number: 110-403-352377 Name: HEIT SHANNON NELL

**Please note that we no longer allow people to send gifts or notes directly to KUMFA families, in order to protect their private information. While we appreciate people’s desires to connect with KUMFA moms and children personally, we hope you can understand the need to ensure their safety through this donation method. We have also had people inquire about continuing to sponsor their wishlist family after the end of this gift drive. However, we have not yet found a way to do this in a way that is fair if only some families are receiving this sponsorship, post-gift drive. In other words, we do not want to your good intentions to create any strife between families. Suffice it to say, we continue to be touched by KUMFA’s supporters boundless generosity and support, thank you!!**

Finally, the website post will be updated every day. The gifts that have already found a sponsor will be checked off. Thank you again for your support of our gift drive and happy holidays!

p.s. As always, a special shout-out to our volunteers who translated our wishlist, thank you for your efforts to bring a magical holiday to our KUMFA children this year!

2025 WISHLIST

1) JeongMin (5 years old) – Since I was pregnant I couldn’t receive support for hospital or birth expenses. So I worked part-time at a mart to pay for the hospital expenses. I had a premature birth; but although I was diagnosed with diabetes, I gave birth to my daughter without pregnancy diabetes. I am taking medicine for my diabetes, while working hard to also make a living. As my child continues to grow, prices rise, and a lot of money goes into it… I’m applying so that I can give a warm gift to my child this Christmas.

2) Sun (8 years old): I don’t know what to do with just me and my child.. My child is looking forward to Christmas but I have been having a hard time while being too sick to work. I am applying here because I want to see my child’s smiling face on Christmas.

3) Eunlovely (13 years old): They go around wearing their gym clothes all day, so for Christmas I would like to buy them some nicer clothes.

5) HoHo (9 years old): My child is very active so he gets very hungry. He often asks for pig’s feet, chicken, pizza, etc. I struggle to afford it and so for a Christmas gift I would like to get him a gift certificate for a food delivery app so that I can buy him whatever he wants to eat.

6) My Child (11 years old): As they become a 5th grader my child is going through all sorts of situations. I started working a part-time job at the convenience store but still can’t earn enough; as the seasons are changing they need a new windbreaker jacket but we can’t afford it. As a Christmas gift I would like to give my child some clothes or shoes for the change in weather.

7) Gyeomee (7 years old): I always want to provide for my growing child but our financial situation is difficult. I am applying here because I want to give my child a gift to make them happy this Christmas.

8) Dear Baby (5 years old): My child has a brain lesion disorder that keeps me from working as I have to care for them since they can not hear, see, eat on their own or move on their own. I am a basic livelihood security recipient, but the support is limited only to child rehabilitation and hospital expenses. That is why I am applying here because I want to give my child a Christmas gift.

9) Rini (5 years old): I have never bought a Christmas gift for my child to enjoy, so this Christmas I want to give them a gift they will enjoy for Christmas.

10) Precious (4 years old) – The reason I decided to give birth when I was 40 years old is because I felt tortured at the thought of not having my baby, so against all the prejudice and interference of others I decided to have my baby. It was a difficult and lonely fight, but enduring to the end I had a healthy baby, and now this holiday they are already 5 years old. I may be poor but I have gained so much in being the mother to my child. I am applying for a Christmas gift because I want to give a meaningful gift to my child.

11) Treasure Trove (3 years old): I am a single mother raising a child. Both of my parents have passed away so I live now with just my child and me. I am a cancer patient and I will have another surgery next month. I’ve had to travel back and forth to the hospital all the time and got into a car accident during the Korean holiday traffic so that added to my hospital treatments. In such a situation there is so much I can’t do for my child, so I am applying here so that I can give my child a Christmas gift.

12) MinSeong (18 years old): I am the mom of a 19 year old. My child and I live just the 2 of us but I often have to go out to the countryside to help take care of my father who is sick. My child is also not well and since last year has been taking medicine for their nose and medicated lotion for their skin. I am applying to give my child some comfy pajamas to sleep in as a Christmas gift.

13) Zach (18 years old): This is their last Christmas as an adolescent so I want them to receive a Christmas gift to celebrate it.

14) Bini (15 years old): I am a mother but also handicapped so I don’t have the finances to buy my child a Christmas gift. I would like to give my child a Christmas gift this year.

15) My Treasure (14 years old) – Even though my child is already in 8th grade, I’ve never been able to give them a proper gift, I can only ever give them second-hand clothes to wear every day. I have a rare and incurable disease. I am financially struggling and have never given my child a Christmas gift. I am applying here to give my child a special gift.

16) Junee (infant): I have never been able to buy a Christmas gift, but this Christmas I really want to give my child a special gift so I am applying here.

17) SangJeon (11 years old): My child only ever wears second-hand shoes, so I am applying here to give them as a Christmas gift a new pair of sneakers.

18) Anchovy (11 years old): I am raising two children by myself without any help from even my own parents. The loneliest time of year is Christmas so I want to cheer up my child with a gift from Santa.

19) Baby Dinosaur Dooly (10 years old): My 4th grade daughter is not in an environment where she can think and play like any other girl her age. She looks after her sick grandmother who has Parkinson’s brain lesion disorder. Grandmother has been struggling with the bathroom and has needed much more help and attention from us. My child is the most kind and attentive of anyone to her grandmother. My daughter bathes grandmother, feeds grandmother, takes care of feeding grandmother her medicines, there are so many things she does for her grandmother. As such, my daughter can’t play or sleep as comfortably as other children because she is always looking out for her grandmother. I am applying here because I want to give my daughter a Christmas gift that will give back to my daughter some comfort as well.

20) Orange (10 years old): I am raising 3 children so I am always worn thin and have never bought them a gift for Christmas. Almost all the clothes they wear are second-hand clothes. I am applying here so that I can give to my youngest daughter the shoes that she really wants.

21) So Cool (9 years old): I am raising my children without child support. We don’t even have the concept of the holidays. I’ve been struggling a lot with my health and so I am applying here because I want to give a Christmas gift to my child.

22) Bbuni (9 years old): I raised my child to the age of 10 without any child support. Recently I’ve seen online that I could have gotten child support and deeply regret not knowing I could get it. As my child grows, financial difficulties grow; and because of Korean holidays we have lived without knowing Christmas. I want to give my child a warm Christmas so I am applying here.

23) Yool (8 years old): Christmas has never been a special day to have a happy time with my child. So I always feel sorry, and am applying here for a Christmas present to make my child happy.

24) Nok (8 years old): Thanks every year to this we are able to spend a secure and joyful Christmas. I am applying so my child can also have a happy Christmas this year as well. Thank you always.

25) Piglet (7 years old): My baby was born into an imperfect family and didn’t get to fully experience the love of a whole family. Through this Christmas gift, I would like to give my lonely child some happiness.

26) Teeny (12 years old): I would like my child to experience love through this Christmas gift given by a member of the community.

27) Ddaengi (6 years old): I am a single mom to a 6-year-old child. I moved homes to a place where I have no ties and graduated from a 2 year high school. I’m currently a sophomore in my final semester at the Open Cyber University. I’m also a certified organizer and interior spaces content creator with dreams of becoming self-sufficient. I worry that I fall short as a mother and I always feel sorry to my child. My child will be starting elementary school in the new year, and I want to do something special for them so I am requesting a gift.

28) Happy (5 years old): I was living in a domestic abuse situation and I ended up giving birth prematurely. My child was severely underweight and is still receiving rehabilitation therapy. The cost of therapy at the rehab center is becoming more difficult to manage, and along with trying to come up with enough money for a housing deposit, taking care of rent and utility bills, my personal debt just keeps growing. However, I would like to give my child something special and so I am putting in a request for a gift.

29) Yeoni (23 months old): I am a single mom to a 23 month old child. I have sacrificed and worked hard to protect my child, and as a result, I feel mentally exhausted and my health has taken a turn for the worse. Even on my baby’s 100th day and first birthday, I was unable to afford a pretty hanbok or photos to commemorate milestones. My financial situation is very tight, and I’ve already sold all of my non-essential belongings in order to cover our daily living expenses. Because of my finances, even though my baby’s birthday is this winter, I don’t think I will be able to afford a birthday present. And so, for this Christmas I am requesting the Mimiworld Pororo Pharmacy Set.

30) Potato (19 months old):  I am a single mom raising a 19 month old baby boy. My son’s shoes are very worn and the toes are all tattered. Occasionally, someone would give us a pair of low-cost shoes but they would get worn out very quickly because he’s such an active boy. For Christmas, I would love to give my son good quality, brand name shoes.

31) Puppy (7 years old): When I was still pregnant with my baby, I broke up with my child’s father because of his repeated violence and coercion. I reported him for stalking and was left with large debts that I had to repay alone. I worked day in and day out, from early morning until late at night. Even during my last trimester, I only clocked off from work at midnight, and I worked this hard to ensure I could be ready for my child’s arrival. I worked until a month before I gave birth and even moved homes by myself, packing and moving my things alone. After I gave birth, I sent my child to daycare so I could go back to work, but a disc injury I incurred as a student athlete returned, and now even walking can be too much for me some days. I also developed postpartum hives that are so painful that they interfere with my daily life when I am unable to access medication. I know there are people who are in more difficult situations out there, but this will be my baby’s second Christmas and I would like to spend it in a memorable way together and so I’m requesting a gift.

32) Smooth Soy Milk (8 months old): I am a single mom to an eight month old baby. This year is our first Christmas together and I would like it to be a special one. Because I’m not able to work again yet, money is tight, so I would like baby supplies for Christmas.

33) Lami (6 years old): My child loves Labubu and so I would like to be able to give them a Labubu for Christmas.

34) Park Seo-eun (6 years old): There are so many things that my child is interested in and likes these days, from clothes to toys. My financial situation is not good, so I would like to request a Christmas present on my child’s behalf.

35) Yoo Som (18 years old): My child is in their last year of high school and is preparing to take the KSAT. Our financial situation is dire and so I am requesting a Christmas gift for my child.

36) Rosa (18 years old): My daughter is in her last year of high school and will be saying goodbye to her teenage years soon. I would like to request a Christmas gift for her that will let her remember her teens fondly.

37) Baseball Girlie (18 years old): I am a single mom with a daughter in high school. I have several health issues that make it difficult to work steadily, so we are always making do on a tight budget. Despite this, my daughter is working very hard to fulfill her dreams and I want to encourage her so that she never gives up on her dreams. I would like to give her a gift that will help her. I think a gift that is related to drawing would be a warm and meaningful Christmas gift.

38) Kim Tawon (18 years old): My child loves to draw, and has a strong interest in live performances, stage arts, and movie sets. At present, my child is preparing to apply to art school and is working on projects to fill out their portfolio and writing essays for the applications. In my child’s downtime they create content for their Youtube channel, which I’d like to share: tawonkim. There is a wide variety of tools and supplies that they need for their projects. I’d like to request a gift that will help my child pursue art. (My child is a major fan of SAKURA pigment inks and PIGMA pens)

39) Nurse-To-Be Baby Princess (17 years old): I am a single mom and my job involves assisting disabled people carry out tasks needed in their daily lives. However, I have developed a number of severe health issues which leaves me unable to work full-time, so I’m struggling financially to cover rent, utilities, and other living expenses. I earn roughly 700,000 won a month and am trying to make ends meet with that amount. My family’s medical fees amount to nearly half my wages and the cost of raising children is high. I lost my life savings to a scam and was eventually forced to file for bankruptcy. My baby daughter has gone through a lot in this time. She was assessed with a disability and when she began middle school she suffered intense bullying. Both she and I have anxiety and depression from this. During her entire time in middle school, she was tormented but still worked hard to overcome her school experiences. Due to her hard work, she was accepted to a specialized high school and she is now studying to become a nurse. She worked hard to make a new start at her school and joined clubs, but she became the victim of severe bullying again. Thanks to play therapy, my daughter was able to rebuild her will to live and found peace and stability. I want her to have hope and live well. I would like for my daughter to receive a nice gift this Christmas.

40) Acorn (17 years old): It’s so cold these days that a puffer coat is essential when going outside. On the walk to school, my child needs the puffer coat, but once indoors it’s too warm to keep it on, but not warm enough to just be in their school uniform. My child has asked for a puffer vest to wear to stay warm in class. My child almost never asks for anything, so I would really like for my child to get a puffer vest for Christmas. I think they would be so happy to get this as a gift.

41) Cool Shi-won (17 years old): My son struggled throughout his school years. He held on until his second year of high school, but he ultimately decided to drop out. We clashed hard over this, and as his mother, it was initially hard for me to accept his decision. But I can see now that my son is working hard to become self-reliant and that he is serious with deep thoughts. He’s working hard to earn his GED and even went out and bought the books he needs for the test. I’m determined to stay by his side and cheer him on. I’d like this Christmas to be a happy one for us and that is why I’m requesting a gift.

42) Kim Min-kyun (17 years old): My son Min-kyun has panic disorder and also shows signs of depression. This past September, he dropped out of school and opted to homeschool to earn his GED and prepare for the KSAT. For a very long time, I suffered from depression, and I think my son is struggling right now. Since he’s no longer enrolled in high school, he has no need for school uniforms and is in need of more street clothes. I am requesting a gift on behalf of my son to wish him well on his new challenge and to cheer him up.

43) Beauty (17 years old): My daughter was elected vice president of her class this year, so she’s juggling those duties with her school work and has become stressed. For Christmas, I would like to give her a pair of sneakers.

44) My Son Is an Alien (17 years old): I always call my son Ju-ahn an alien, but I love my alien son very much. These days he’s having a hard time because he has to spend so much time studying. I’m not sure how to help him and while I’m always thinking of ways I could help, learning is something only he can do for himself. I know it can be hard and lonely work but I’m cheering him on and I’m sure he’ll achieve good results. Because hakwon tuition is so expensive, he relies on online classes which has made me resolve to work harder and live better. He studies so late into the night at his desk that I was worried about eye strain, so I surprised him with a desk lamp in the hopes that it would help. Whether it’s his studies, training for marathons, or practicing soccer, whatever he does, I want him to do well and to be well. He is my teacher in life. I love my son more than he can know and am requesting a gift for him! Happy Christmas, Happy New Year!

45) Jini (17 years old):It’s October as I put in this request; December and Christmas are just around the corner. My daughter is in her second year of high school. Since my daughter is in high school, it might be a difficult age for her to get chosen for a gift, but all the same, I am hoping that we can spend this Christmas together and that she’ll have a nice Christmas gift. To the person who chose to donate to my daughter: I am so happy and grateful for you, and this gift will become a wonderful memory! Thank you ^^

46) Homay (17 years old): My son is in his second year of high school and has developmental disabilities, so we need a lot of support in our day-to-day lives. Since it’s winter and Christmas is coming, I would like to bring some joy to my son through a gift that he could have fun with. Thank you for sharing your warm-heart with us.

47) Treasure (17 years old): I have a number of health issues and for the past several years, my child has helped to take care of me when I am ill. My child’s birthday just passed and I was only able to provide a small cake, but my child was grateful even for that. I would like to request a gift for my precious child.

48) Organic Tomato (17 years old): My son started his second year of high school and I would like to request a present for him. He studies hard each day and is working hard to fulfill his dreams, so I’m hoping that he could receive a Christmas gift. Thank you.

49) Sophia (16 years old): Sophia had to get a surgery because of a genetic disease, and will need treatment and operations in the future, as well. My child told me she was scared to not wake up from the anesthesia. But because she is receiving so much love from her family she encouraged herself to face the surgery. By giving her a present for Christmas I would like to show her once again how much she is loved, and encourage her to gain strength to face another surgery. I hope her Christmas gift will get chosen, and Sophia can feel like a child born to be loved.

50) Love (16 years old): Love is in first grade of high school and a wushu athlete. Because my child is sweating a lot, they have to change their sports wear often, but they don’t have many clothes. Therefore I signed up for the Christmas wishlist, so I would be able to give  Love some sports clothing for Christmas

51) Neo Jay (16 years old): My child isn’t in good physical health, but is cheerful and always does their best. They are never missing a day of school, getting along well with their friends, and living a righteous life. Neo Jay especially likes badminton a lot, and diligently plays it even after school. It hasn’t been easy in the beginning, but Neo Jay didn’t give up and improved his skills little by little. Their coach is also praising my child’s passion and consistency. I’m happy that badminton became my child’s favorite sport which gives them a lot of confidence. The financial burden to get them new sports items just became a little overwhelming. It would be a big help if Neo Jay could receive the badminton gear as a Christmas gift. I would be very grateful if you would support my child’s dream and efforts.

52) Onew (16 years old): Although Onew is a high school student she’s still a little child. While time keeps passing, and she’s getting older, I tend to forget how my little girl is still at an age where she would love to receive a gift.

53) Sticky Rice Cake (16 years old): Is it because he’s growing up so fast..? But all his clothes seem so small~ I would love to get some stylish clothes for my son~^^

54) Malraengi/Dried snack (16 years old): After receiving the diagnosis of an intellectual disability a few months ago, my eldest child is taking care of their younger sibling on my behalf-therefore I would like to give my eldest a Christmas gift.

55) Leon Sia (16 years old): I’m thankful for Christmas presents every year. When I was in Korea I used to go to a Christmas party, which my child doesn’t remember, but they do remember the gifts they received. I hope Leon Sia will grow up to be a child who gives as much as they receive.

56) Sammy (16 years old): Recently I had a lot of stress due to moving, and I let my child feel the built up anger. When they asked me to buy them some stuff, I replied coldly, “Am I the only one moving?,” and, “I got no money!” Thinking back, I shouldn’t have reacted that harshly. I want to assure my child that I didn’t mean to react that way, and would like to surprise Sammy by getting him the item they had wanted for Christmas. And I really want to express to my child that I am sorry, and love them.

57) Handsome Guy (15 years old): I feel sorry, but I would like to sign up to receive a Christmas gift. These days, my son who went through some time of adolescence is now busy preparing for his final exams of middle school. It’s not easy to see his face but I would like to cheer him on by giving him a present.

58) My Child (15 years old): I would love to get my daughter some shoes for Christmas~ Because she’s not only growing in height, but her feet are also getting bigger, I would like to present her with new shoes. Thank you so much~

59) Heavenly Child (15 years old): To my very kind and good-hearted child… There were many times I couldn’t take care of properly, and it always hurts to see that my child is adjusting to any situation without complaining. I want to buy my child some warm winter clothes which they really love.

60) Choco snack (15 years old): My little baby who was once curled up in my arms is now a teenager-going through puberty, getting pimples, and being sensitive about anything their mom tells them. As they are getting older, and growing in height they still seem like a little child who likes to get presents on birthdays and holidays. Christmas seems to be no exception. As they got a girlfriend this year as well, it would be even nicer to get a present which they could use as a couple.

61) Pure heart (15 years old): As puberty hits hard I want to cheer up my child who is having a harder time than anyone else. I want to tell them that the hard times will also pass, and that they are doing so well.

62) Ddochi (15 years old): I would like to sign up for this Christmas Wishlist to surprise my child who is hoping so much to receive a gift this year.

63) Sun (15 years old): My daughter, who won two out of three piano competitions in 2025, is going to attend high school in 2026. Even in difficult times she is diligently practicing piano, therefore I would love to get her a Christmas present.

64) Moon (15 years old): Moon placed fourth in the 2025 National Sports Competition for children with disabilities. Even in tough times he is giving his best. I would love to get a great present for my hard-working son who will attend high school next year.

65) Heuk-in (15 years old): My child, who is in 9th grade, got accepted to a science high school, and is now preparing diligently to get good grades. They are planning to live in a dormitory, but we still need many things. Furthermore the bills for afternoon schools are also adding up and are already quite burdensome. My child does have hope to receive a headset before entering the dormitory, therefore I signed up for the Christmas Wishlist.

66) Grapefruit (15 years old): I would love to get some fancy clothes for my daughter, who is in the third grade of middle school. She is going through puberty, and her interest in fashion grows each day. I feel sorry that we don’t have enough money, and I bought her a lot of old-fashioned clothes. Even if it’s only a shirt I would like to buy her at least one item she really loves. My daughter, who is going to graduate from middle school and enter high school soon, should be able to receive a special present on Christmas. My daughter who might feel empty and lonely spending Christmas only with her mom would be very grateful to receive a present from Santa Claus. I won’t lose hope and will give my best. Thank you so much for giving us hope and strength. Merry Christmas!!

67) Honeybee (15 years old): By next year my child will be a high school student already~ I would like to give them a warm hoodie which they could wear at school or at the afterschool academy.

68) Peek-a-boo (15 years old): My teenage child will graduate middle school soon. They stressed how they won’t receive a present for Christmas, but it seems they secretly hope to receive one~ My child has a natural fashion sense and loves clothes~ I really hope our wish gets granted.

69) Lots of Luck (15 years old): I’m a single mother raising my teenage child who attends 3rd grade of middle school. My premature baby who had been born so small and weak somehow grew up to be a teenager now. My child doesn’t ask for things they would like to get, so I can’t tell for sure what they wish for, but since it’s getting colder these days I would like to get them a warm hoodie. When my child was younger, we often received hand-me-downs and a lot of help from people around us. As my child gets older it’s getting harder to rely on that, and I have become more careful about it. So this time, rather than choosing for them, I want my child to pick out their own clothes. I’m a little worried which clothes my child will pick, but I want to go with whatever they choose. It is weighing heavy on my heart and I feel sorry my child got aware that Santa doesn’t really exist, nonetheless I hope they can remember Christmas day as a cheerful and happy holiday.

70) Jjuni (15 years old): Jjuni’s birthday is right before Christmas, so I used to only celebrate his birthday, and kind of passed on the Christmas celebration. This year I would like to celebrate Christmas properly and give them a present.

71) Big (15 years old): Big will enter high school next year..! Their birthday is on Christmas Eve, so every time I ask what they would like to get for Christmas, they tell me something that I seem to need, rather than telling me what they really wish to receive for themselves. I would like to get a present for my child who grew up so fast. Every year I’m so thankful.

72) Dohuni and Taehuni (15 and 13 years old): I am applying here to get my 2 children a nice Christmas gift.

73) My Child (14 years old): My child is in the second grade of middle school, they used to weigh over 90 kilograms but they decided to diet and are now 70 kilos. They exercise really hard and go to a judo academy. They used to always be the type to give up on things pretty quickly, but this time they really show that if they set their heart to it they can achieve. To such a child I want to give them exercise equipment as a Christmas gift. ^^ I think they will really like it

74) My Jjun (14 years old): My child is a very considerate child with a bright personality so they have many friends and receive a lot of praise from other people. They love building robots with Legos and wants to be a police officer in the future to help his mother and the underprivileged people around him. I am currently unemployed and facing difficult circumstances. My child fell down the stairs and fractured both wrists. He was hospitalized and had emergency surgery. He had a cast put on and was treated as an outpatient. He was readmitted and had surgery to remove the pins. I have several polyps in my endometrium, and they have grown and thickened, causing severe irregular bleeding and pain. I needed an emergency surgery to remove the polyps and a biopsy. After being hospitalized, I had a hysteroscopy. In these difficult circumstances, I desperately wanted to give my child the Legos he so desperately wanted for Christmas, so I am applying here.

75) Nogi Nogi (14 years old): My child is in their second year of middle school and they have lived in a shelter for four years, this May they moved into a home with their own room. They have started decorating their room with their favorite Hangyo-dong characters. They love Hangyo-dong, Gorillaz, and Slam Dunk, and also is interested in fashion and loves designing their room and their clothes in a hip style. I’d like to give them some Hangyo-dong and Slam Dunk merchandise as a gift.

76) HaGgungi (14 years old): I am a single mother raising my daughter who was diagnosed with autism and entered elementary school at the age of 9 after a one-year delay. She entered a special school this year. Since she is still adjusting to school, I am unable to work and have been living solely on government subsidies. I felt burdened when I tried to prepare a Christmas present for her this year. But this is such a good cause that will mean a lot to my daughter this year.

77) Bini (8 years old): Bini goes to school in worn out sneaker shoes. I wish for them to walk more confidently and brightly in brand new shoes.

78) JiBbungi (14 years old): Thank you for your precious sponsorship. I hope this will be a special Christmas for my child. Life has been hard but I am working hard to provide my child with a stable life. Please help us to have a happy Christmas.

79) Kimchi (14 years old): I am wishing for us to be happy when they are in their last year of middle school next year.

80) Smile Man (13 years old): I’d like to give my child a Christmas gift so I am applying! My child is getting more and more distant with puberty. And they are more sensitive. I’ve felt so guilty for being too busy with work to spend as much time caring for my child, but as it’s becoming winter I want to give a warm message and gift to my child so I am applying here. Thank you~~

81) Baby (13 years old): As my child gets older they are more aware of their mom’s circumstances and so they don’t talk to me about any gifts that they want, but I know in their heart they are looking forward to Christmas. It would be a great boost and comfort if I could give them even a small gift. I am applying here because it is difficult for me to provide them a Christmas gift due to my financial circumstances.

82) DdalLangGoo (13 years old): Thank you for giving us the joy of Christmas with a Christmas gift for my child last year and also for one this year too we are so grateful. Last year my child received new shoes for Christmas and they were so happy. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to apply for Christmas gifts today as well. My children are so happy. Thank you.

83) J (13 years old): My child worked so hard through their first year of middle school ♡ I am applying to give them a Christmas gift.

84) Bboong Bboong-i (13 years old): My child currently has a brain lesion and intellectual disability and receives treatment from Monday to Friday. On Mondays and Tuesdays they leave school after the fourth period to go to the hospital for occupational therapy, computerized cognitive therapy, and rehabilitation. They also go to a rehabilitation hospital for art therapy. So on Mondays and Tuesdays they make up for their missed lunch with some bread. It was suggested that we could just leave school earlier to have time to eat a proper lunch, but that would mean my child has less time in school and would prevent them from being able to go on to the next grade. And delaying therapy hours isn’t an option due to the large number of children receiving treatment. Despite the challenges, I’m so proud of my child for diligently attending school and receiving treatment without showing any signs of distress. One day my child said to me: “Mom, it must be hard for you because of how much money you spend because of me” and my heart just ached to hear that. My child was born at only 25 weeks and they only weighed 600 grams, but now they have grown up old enough to even worry about their Mom. I’m so moved. I am requesting a Christmas gift for my child.

85) Skinny (13 years old): While raising a child as a single mother, I’ve been on dialysis for six years due to an illness. Unable to work, I live on basic livelihood security without any income. My child, who is only in the 1st year of middle school, becomes gloomy and sullen every year around Christmas. When they were younger they used to throw tantrums but now they comfort me, their ailing mother, and never complain. It’s heartbreaking to see them being sad all alone. Thanks to your support, I’ll be able to give a Christmas gift this year and that makes my heart feel a little lighter as a mother. Thank you.

86) Yuel (13 years old): My child has been sick and our financial situation has been difficult. They have been struggling to fit into school and so I want to cheer them up with a Christmas gift.

87) Tiger (13 years old): I am a mother raising a middle school son. Recently, my son has been growing rapidly and I feel the need to buy him new clothes, bags, and shoes, but realistically I just can’t afford to buy all the things for my child. Now my son has become more subjective about colors and shapes and so if through this opportunity, I could give him the sneakers that he really wants, he would be very happy.

88) BeomTaeng-i (13 years old): I am applying to get my child something they will really love.

89) Joo Joo (13 years old): I am applying to get them the pretty sneakers they really want.

90) Pretty (13 years old): They need a winter coat to have a warm Christmas. Santa please gift them a winter coat.

91) Strawberry (13 years old): My child is now a middle school student. Ten years ago this little girl was smiling and crying when she received a Christmas gift of the doll that she wanted so much. Now 10 years later and she’s grown up into a girl smiling so brightly wearing her school uniform. Please support my daughter who has overcome her disability to attend school. She says she needs an English translation pen to help her learn and read words in English.

92) My Child (13 years old): They are adjusting well after entering middle school, and they take care of their younger sibling who has a developmental handicap.. They recently took up playing soccer with their school friends and I am applying here to get them soccer shoes.

93) Sweet Potato (13 years old): In a new house they have just gotten their own room for the first time with a desk and computer but they need a keyboard so they can study~

94) Energy Drink (13 years old): This is their first Christmas as a middle school student and I am applying here to give them some warm winter clothes.

95) DoggiePoo (13 years old): Thank you again for your unwavering help. I live in Incheon with my daughter. She is in her first year of middle school. Although she is in middle school now, she is still my little girl. As she goes through puberty, there are more things that she wants, but I don’t have the chance to give her presents except on special occasions. I would like to apply for a gift so that my child and I can build memories together.

96) JiHoon (13 years old): I want to give them a Christmas gift to commemorate them becoming a middle school student.

97) YooYooYoo (13 years old): To my child who has many things they want, I couldn’t even give them a birthday present this year. So I am applying here for help to give them a Christmas gift.

98) Penguin (13 years old): My child has recently grown much taller, so none of the clothes fit anymore. There are many things we need, but I have not been able to provide for my child adequately as a mother. I would like to give a warm sweater or top as a present.

99) Going (13 years old): My son is this year in his first year of middle school~ This Christmas I want to give them a gift to spend a warm Christmas this year!^^

100) Big Boy (13 years old): I’m a mother of two children. I’m only able to work irregularly, so our living situation is less than stable. I am often unable to get everything that my children need. My heart is heavy at those times, but their bright smiles give me strength. They always look forward to the upcoming Christmas. But I was worried because it isn’t easy for me to prepare presents for them. If we are selected for this support, I believe I can give my kids a very special Christmas that they won’t forget.

101) Dooni Dooni DoU (12 years old): My child has been taking medication for ADHD since the age of eight and is currently diagnosed as a slow learner. Due to the Covid pandemic and being a slow learner, it was difficult to follow classes and get along with other kids, but my child has done well. I want to give my child a Christmas present for doing so well in elementary school. This is the last year of elementary school, and next year we start middle school. Middle school will be harder and more difficult. Please send my child good wishes for success!

102) GgoDaeJang  (12 years old): My child is in their last year of elementary school. During everyday activities and on weekends, I wish we had warmer clothes for my child to wear. But due to our financial constraints, it isn’t easy to get new winter clothes. Since I am a single parent and breadwinner who is also managing my child’s education, even something as simple as buying a set of clothes is a big decision. For this coming Christmas, I would like to do something special for my child. When I imagine my child’s happy face after putting on a pair of warm jeans received from Santa, it gives me a moment of warmth in my heart.

103) Hopeful  (12 years old): My daughter is graduating elementary school this year. To my daughter I want to give them a warm winter as a graduation gift.

104) Cutie  (12 years old): Being a single parent, I have not been able to give my child a proper Christmas present. My child is well aware of mommy’s financial situation and doesn’t ask me to buy a present like other children. My child is in the sixth grade of elementary school and is approaching puberty. I am applying for a gift because I want my child to have a memorable Christmas before graduating elementary school. Thank you so much for your support.

105) Sunshine (3 years old): Early this year, my son transferred schools due to school bullying. Thankfully, he is adjusting well to his new school. But he is worried about going into middle school next year. I want to comfort him by giving him the sneakers that he always wanted as a Christmas present.

106) YeonDdaengi (12 years old): I am applying to give a Christmas gift to my daughter.

107) Gyeol (12 years old): I want to give my son a warm jumper or fleece jacket as a gift. Last year, I bought a large size one, but he has already outgrown it. My son was born small and was always a little one. While it is wonderful to see him growing little by little, I am sorry to say that clothes and shoes are also a concern.

108) Shorty (12 years old): My daughter is going through puberty and is very sensitive these days. It is hard to talk to her sometimes and we feel distant lately. She will soon graduate from elementary school and enter middle school. She wants some nice clothes which I can’t really afford. I am applying for the gift because I would like to get my child something nice for Christmas and build a better relationship with her.

109) SuDoli (12 years old): I’m a mother of a son who is in elementary school. I raise my kids alone, and since SuDoli is my second child, it has been difficult to buy the clothes or shoes that he wants. Most of the time, he wears the clothes that he gets handed down from his older brother, which he doesn’t really like. I know how he feels, but the reality is that we are going through hard times and usually can’t buy new clothes for him. I always feel awful about that. With this opportunity, if he can receive the new present that he wants, it would make him very happy.

110) GgoMi (12 years old): I want to cheer on my daughter who is finishing elementary school and is now going on to middle school! She had surgery at a young age which always made me worried about her going to school, but now she is graduating. I was also ill and had surgery and time spent in the hospital, and my daughter was supportive through it all. Please send your good wishes to my wonderful girl!

111) Quick Growing Cutie (12 years old): My child is entering middle school next year. Time passes so quickly. I remember the first year of elementary school so clearly. My child’s backpack is old and worn. I want to give a new backpack as a present to celebrate the start of middle school.

112) Mommy’s Jackpot (12 years old): I want to give them new sneakers in congratulations for entering middle school.

113) Princess Piggy (12 years old): I can barely afford my child’s play therapy sessions with our welfare support, and I have never been able to buy a proper present. We have always relied on the gifts from KUMFA. I am a mother with shortcomings, but I want my child to have a present, so I am applying for this gift drive.

114) Princess Cutie  (11 years old): Clothes and shoes are so expensive these days. So I am applying here for my child who wants new shoes. ^^

115) Full of Cuteness (11 years old): To my child who wants so many things and wants to eat so many things, this Christmas I want to give them warm shoes to wear through the cold winter. Santa Claus, please give them winter shoes that are pretty. Thank you.

116) Hong Gyu (11 years old): I have many worries as I watch my son growing up day by day. It is fall now, and winter is just a month away. My boy’s shoes and winter clothes are all too small, so we need to buy new ones, but we are not well off financially. A few days ago, our gas stove broke, so I looked online for a new one, but it costs more than 100,000 won. If we solve one problem, another soon appears. If we are selected for a Christmas present, I would love to be able to get my son a gift for Christmas.

117) Kim Dda (11 years old): My daughter is going through puberty and becoming a young lady. She is into male idols and wants to buy their goods and albums. However, she has younger siblings, so I haven’t been able to buy something special just for her. She likes ZEROBASEONE and Boys II Planet, and recently she told me about another new group. I am applying because my daughter wants an album with a photo book and photo cards.

118) Cutie Pie (11 years old): Hello~^^ Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to apply to receive a wonderful gift again this year. Last year, I was so happy when my children received shoes as a gift! I hope we can receive another wonderful gift this year as well.

119) Pretty YeChan (11 years old): My son is a multiple sclerosis patient. He also suffers from severe osteoporosis, requiring to wear a cast 3-4 times a year. His disability benefits are our only source of income, and there are so many things I can’t provide for my child who is growing bigger every day. This Christmas, I earnestly pray that my child can experience God’s gift.

120) HoHoHoHoBBang (11 years old): As my son is entering puberty, he and I have been clashing a lot this year, and he’s become withdrawn and unwilling to open up. I’m applying for this program in hopes of repairing our relationship.

121) Greenie (11 years old): I’m a mother raising an upper elementary school-aged child. My child has grown so much lately that none of the clothes fit anymore. With the cold weather approaching, I want to buy my child a warm jacket, but our financial situation isn’t very good, so even that is a big burden. That’s why this Christmas gift application is so welcome. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

122) Pretty (11 years old): My child has a disability, which makes her physically weak and unable to regulate her body temperature properly, so she needs thermal underwear.

123) Starlight (11 years old): My child dreams of becoming a history YouTuber and is focusing on history and essay writing studies. A recent multiple intelligence test showed results indicating strong aptitudes in areas closely related to history, such as politics, diplomacy, broadcasting producer, and literary critic. Therefore, I would like to request books related to these fields for my child.

124) HwanHee (11 years old): My child, who used to be thin, suddenly gained weight and grew bigger, and the clothes they used to wear no longer fit. He recently found some clothes he really likes, so I’m submitting this request.

125) WoofWoof-i (11 years old): I’m a single mother raising an elementary school-aged child. My child has been very sensitive lately, and is becoming increasingly quiet, which makes me worry that puberty might be approaching soon. Furthermore, she’s suddenly become very conscious of her clothes and appearance. She’s been constantly asking me to buy her pretty clothes, and if I’m chosen for the Christmas gift program, I’d like to give her the clothes she likes as a present. I just want her to have a happy Christmas. Thank you.

126) Gabriel (10 years old): Wearing black jeans and a black hoodie looks cool. It’s cold in the winter, and I only have thin jeans, so I want to wear warm jeans.

127) Zzanggu (10 years old): I am a single mother from North Korea raising an 11-year-old son. This is probably the ninth Christmas I’ve celebrated since I got to know the Korean-American Association. Raising a child alone is incredibly difficult, but the support from the Korean-American Association helps fill the emptiness, hardship, and sadness I experience. This year, I’ve applied for a Christmas gift for my son. Thank you so much for your help.

128) Princess (3 years old): I feel heartbroken because I’m so exhausted from working at the logistics center at night that I can’t take good care of my child. Contrary to what I expected, I’m constantly tired, and I don’t have much time to laugh and relax with my child. I want to bring back the laughter to my child’s life.

129) Walnut (10 years old): My child is an elementary school student who loves music. He learned to play the flute and even gave a wonderful performance at his school’s talent show. He never neglects his practice, and whenever he has free time, he quietly takes out his instrument and plays, finding peace of mind. Lately, he’s also been trying to do things for himself in small ways, like cooking ramen and frying eggs. Although he comes from a single-parent family, he is always a bright and kind child, with a warm heart that brings smiles to those around him. With Christmas approaching, I want to make my son feel warmth and love. This Christmas, I hope a warm gift will bring him great joy and allow his pure heart to shine even brighter.

130) JiNi (10 years old): I am a mother raising a fourth-grade elementary school student. My child loves arts and physical activities such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, art, and sports, and has a bright and positive personality. Although we are not financially well-off, my child has a warm heart and cares for those less fortunate than themselves. Whenever there is free time, my child volunteers at an animal shelter, and I am always proud to see them dedicating themselves to these small and precious lives. Despite our difficult financial situation, I applied for this gift hoping that my child will have warm memories of Christmas and continue to grow up brightly and healthily.

131) Blessing (10 years old): I’m a single mother raising my 11-year-old daughter alone. I’m currently receiving vocational training (at a training center) to get a job, so I have no income and am living on the single-person living allowance provided for my child. Because I’m a single mother, I’ve lost contact with the father and have never received any child support.  Things are very tight financially, but I really want to give my daughter a Christmas present, so I’m applying with a hopeful heart.

132) Full of aegyo (10 years old): I am a single parent raising an 11-year-old child. My child, who is in the 4th grade this year, has a very bright personality and is very affectionate, always making me laugh and is very popular among friends. Their dream is to become an idol singer, and they love dancing and singing. They are also good at drawing and study hard – a truly good child! I have multiple polyps in my endometrium, and they have grown to the point where my uterine lining is too thick. Due to severe irregular bleeding and pain, I needed emergency surgery to remove the polyps and have a tissue biopsy. I was hospitalized and underwent surgery using a hysteroscopy. Currently, I am receiving outpatient treatment and regular checkups, and I am unemployed, so my financial situation is very difficult. I applied for this program because I really want to give my child the gift they want so much this Christmas. Thank you.

133) Cute Twilight (10 years old): My child’s age has now gone from a single digit to a double digit; and they have officially entered their teenage years. I’m submitting this request to share this milestone with you all and receive your congratulations. Also, someone has been praying for our family for many years, and they’ve become a part of our faith community. My child understands the true meaning of Christmas better than anyone, and realizes that we all live together in this world. I want to give them a gift to show my appreciation for their kind heart.

134) EggplantEggplant (9 years old):My son is exceptionally curious and full of energy. He’s also incredibly thoughtful; he’ll hold back from asking for toys he wants because he doesn’t want to upset his mom. I really want to see him smile brightly on Christmas morning when he receives a wonderful toy.

135) Pakjji (9 years old):I have a 10-year-old daughter. There’s something she really wants, but I’m hesitant to buy it for her right away because I’m trying to save money. She’ll definitely want something for Christmas too… I really want to buy it for her. Thank you in advance.

136) Space (9 years old): My child, who turned ten this year, looks forward to Christmas more than anyone else. It’s the only day when Mom gives gifts. Even though we live without a father, she laughs and plays well with me, but sometimes when she talks to her friends and hears them say things like, “My dad gave me this,” it makes my heart ache a little. I hardly have any time to spend with her these days, but the happiest moments for her are when we lie down together and draw and talk about various things in her sketchbook. Lately, she’s suddenly dreaming of becoming a baker, and she expresses that dream through her drawings, creating her own world. This Christmas, I hope you can give her a small gift and a warm heart so that she can have the brightest smile in the world.

137) Kim Dung (9 years old): My daughter is going through early puberty these days and doesn’t always listen to me, but she’s always been a good and healthy child, and I want to give her a gift.

138) Giraffe (9 years old): I’m a single mother raising my child alone. Since summer, my daughter has been begging me for a Pororo ice cream shop toy as a Christmas present. She’s past the early elementary school age, so I don’t know why she’s suddenly asking for Pororo-themed toys again… Around this time last year, we moved, and I’ve been struggling financially trying to furnish the house and pay off the deposit, so I’m applying for this, hoping it will be a good opportunity. Even if I’m not selected, I still support this initiative!

139) Bookworm (9 years old):I have a son who is in the third grade of elementary school. He’s intelligent, gets along well with his friends, and is thoughtful, so he’s loved by the adults around him. Until the second grade, I was worried because he was very thin and small, but in the third grade, he grew taller and gained some weight, which I was very happy about. However, the problem is that none of his clothes fit him anymore. I’m a freelancer, and my income is irregular, so I’m barely making ends meet. I’m already worried about the clothing expenses that will be necessary as the weather gets colder. I would like to give my son warm winter clothes as a Christmas present so he can stay warm this winter. Thank you.

140) Eun-tteok (9 years old): I’ll be spending Christmas Day at home alone with my child, and I’m applying for this because I think a gift would bring a happy smile to my child’s face.

141) Lil’ Troublemaker (9 years old): In January my child said their feet hurt because their shoes are too small so I bought them new shoes. Now it hasn’t been a year yet but already their feet hurt because the new shoes are too small now. It’s hard for me to keep up with buying shoes for how fast their feet are growing. With my current finances I can’t afford to buy them shoes because I don’t have the money to.

142) Chipmunk (9 years old): They like dinosaurs and they want to be an archaeologist.

143) Kimgaru (9 years old): I am applying for a Christmas gift for my child who still believes in Santa.

144) Jooni (8 years old): A lot of things happened as my child started their second grade of elementary school. I’ve been with my child as they have had a hard first half of the year due to school work and I’m going to help them so that they don’t have as hard a time in the second half of the year. There were other unfair things they’ve been through.. and I want to give my child a gift to have a happy Christmas after having such a hard time with their classmates.

145) Sunshine (8 years old): My child in 2nd grade of elementary school really loves cars and board games, but I haven’t been able to really buy those for them. Many times we go to the department store and just leave after looking around at the toys. I am applying here so that this time I can give them the gift that they will really love.

146) Turtle (8 years old): My child is now in the second grade of elementary school but even though they know Santa isn’t real they still wait for Santa~ They ask if Santa would come this year just like last year~ I think Santa’s impression is very deep on them. They study harder than they used to and behave better than they used to. When Santa season comes they transform into the sweetest child. They say they are looking forward to Santa this year ans they are waiting so much for Christmas~

147) Bini (8 years old): My child likes gummies so I’d like to give them some vitamin gummies as a gift.

148) BoMi (8 years old): My child recently dropped out of school due to severe bullying. My once bright and energetic child often falls into depression because of the emotional wounds caused by her female classmates. I feel so sorry for my daughter for not being able to help fight for her. I want to give her a sudden big surprise with a gift from Santa because she still believes in Santa.

149) HaUm-i (8 years old): My child is already in the second grade of elementary school, and they have grown so much taller, more thoughtful, and more independent. They’ve also grown to want more things but my good child never whines to me to buy things. They are a good and obedient child so Santa will give this good child a Christmas gift this year too, right? ^^

150) JiiDdongi (8 years old): My child is a second-grader who loves books and music. They are always surrounded by books and they practice the piano and violin in their free time. To my child who dreams of becoming a pianist it would bring them so much joy and happiness to be gifted books and music.

151) MingGiri (8 years old): Every year, I’m always grateful for your support to give my child a Christmas gift. This year’s Christmas is just around the corner. And so is the worry of how I will prepare a Christmas gift. Every year as my child grows so does the cost to raise them. Although I can’t give them as much as other moms can give, my child doesn’t complain. But I can see that it does bother them and it hurts my heart.. But my child shakes it off and is always so quick to cheer up, so I’m always so grateful to my baby. They are old enough that they realized this year that Santa isn’t real. However, thy know that it’s all the people like Santa Claus to be grateful for. ^^ I’m applying here for a Christmas gift this time too. ^^ Thank you as always ♡

152) Princess Won (8 years old): Because I can’t leave my child alone yet, I left them with my parents when I went out to work. But one day I got seriously ill and injured and since then it became difficult to continue working, so I had to give up my job. The heavy rain caused a leak in my house, and my five-year-old refrigerator broke down and the cost to fix it is too much to even consider. The management fee has been piling up for months and the burden of daily medication and my child’s medical expenses is making every day a struggle!

153) Davina (8 years old): Hello, I have a daughter who is really looking forward to Christmas this year so I am applying with the heart of a mother who wants to give her a gift.

154) Leo (8 years old): My child loves playing with friends. As the weather gets colder and we’re about to embark on a long winter break, they will be spending most of their time at home with their friends so I’d like to give him a Nintendo game chip to play with his friends.

155) Bear (8 years old): Since my child started elementary school, I haven’t done anything special for Christmas, so I’m applying this year because I want to give them a nice gift that they will love to make Christmas a special day for them.

156) Melody (8 years old): My second-grader daughter is very studious and curious, so she wants to take the city-run video English classes. I found out that a headset is needed to learn conversational English. She always wants to take the video lessons but I haven’t been able to provide for her to do it. Now that she’s in third grade, I’m worried about her English, so I’d like to apply for a headset-based video English class. I think it would be incredibly rewarding for my daughter to be able to hear native speakers and her own pronunciation accurately with a headset that’s comfortable for her ears. Thank you.

157) Jay (8 years old): I am not a mother who spends much time with my child and I also can’t really provide as much for them, but I am applying here because I want to spend a warm Christmas with my child.

158) Dried Radish (8 years old): My 9-year-old still believes in Santa so I’m applying for my child who believes that Santa will come again this year without fail. They have loved cars since they were little and still loves them, especially special-purpose vehicles like fire trucks, police cars, and heavy equipment vehicles. He said his future dream is to be a police officer or a firefighter. ㅎㅎ. When I asked him why he dreams of that he said cars are cool but since people can’t be cars he wants to be someone who drives one. Any toy or item related to his dream will be welcome. Thank you.

159) Hoya (8 years old): Hello. I’m a single mother with a second-grade son. If I’m selected for this year’s Christmas gift sponsorship, I’d love to give him some warm shoes or clothes to keep him warm during the winter. Thank you so much for your support, giving me hope that what was once a lonely and desolate day can become a special and happy Christmas. Have a Merry Christmas!

160) BoHyeoni (8 years old): I don’t know what’s trending among elementary school students these days, so I asked her and she said she wants headphones. She said that when children talk on the phone with their friends, she wants to keep the conversation to herself. Her friends do the same thing. I’m applying for headphones that she can hear her friends well with.

161) Chairman (8 years old): I’m the mother of a nine-year-old daughter. My daughter has intellectual disability and ADHD, which makes her developmentally behind her peers. She’s currently in the first grade of elementary school. While she struggles more than others in many areas, she always has a bright and innocent smile. This year, she finally discovered Santa Claus. As a mother, I hope she can smile more joyfully than anyone else this Christmas. Even though we face many challenges, I want to protect her pure heart. If a special experience that brings her joy and hope comes to her like a gift this Christmas, that alone would be a great blessing to me. I sincerely hope that this story will bring a small, miraculous happiness to my daughter.

162) Lovey (2 years old): Thank you so much for your precious support ❤️ I’m applying because I want to give a Christmas present to the eldest princess of my four darling babies. Because of my low monthly living expenses, it’s difficult to prepare gifts for the children. I want to give them a happy Christmas. ♡

163) DdoolDdooli (8 years old):My child is in second grade of elementary but because of my limited financial situation, I haven’t been able to prepare a Christmas gift for them. But seeing their excitement as they wait for Santa brings me so much heartache. This year, I hope they can receive a small gift so they can spend a happy Christmas smiling. My child loves books and they are very diligent in school. If you could give them this precious opportunity, I’d be grateful. I hope they have a warm and happy holiday season.

164) Jyani Jyani (8 years old): My son is short and light for his age, so he has had a lot of difficulty making friends with kids his age. He likes soccer, but compared to his friends, he doesn’t have as much stamina, so he stopped playing for a while and only started again a month ago. With winter just around the corner, I want to give him a cool sports outfit as a Christmas present. I hope he can confidently play sports with his friends. Thank you.

165) Bumbley (8 years old): First of all, thank you so much for sponsoring my child. This sponsorship will be a special gift for my second child, who is eagerly awaiting Christmas. As a single parent with irregular income, raising a middle schooler and an elementary schooler comes with many financial difficulties. Watching my child excitedly pray for Santa’s present this Christmas, my heart feels heavy. I sincerely hope to be selected for this sponsorship so that my child can have a joyful Christmas. Thank you.

166) Jyool (7 years old):I am a mother raising a first-grade boy. My child has always been a bit slower than his peers. Even now, his fine and gross motor skills are developing more slowly than his friends, but recently, he has started to take an interest in Legos, which he couldn’t play with when he was younger. It’s awkward for him to use strength in his hands, so he wasn’t good at assembling things, but seeing him work hard at building now makes me so proud and grateful. Since he’s interested, I want to support him more, so I’m applying for this to give him a present he’s most interested in for Christmas.

167) Jeong-U (7 years old): My son, Jungwoo, is experiencing severe hair loss. His hair continues to fall out even now. I want to give him a winter gift that can keep his head and neck warm

168) JyoKani (7 years old): Sumini, who turned seven this year, loves making things with their hands. All day long, they draw pictures with colored pencils and markers, and enjoy introducing their drawings in front of the camera, saying, ‘Hello~ I’m Sumini!’ with a smile. That pure and lovely sight always warms their mother’s heart. Recently, Sumini’s drawing skills have improved a lot, and they even won a prize in a Taegukgi drawing contest. Sumini often says, ‘I’ll become a real artist someday!’ However, continuing this passion requires many supplies, and sometimes it’s not easy to buy them. So, this Christmas, I hope Sumini can receive art tools or an art set as a gift, so they can freely draw and let their imagination soar. I wish for a small miracle to bloom at Sumini’s fingertips as they grow day by day, and for warm hope to settle in this Christmas.

169) TyrannosaurJun (7 years old): My child started elementary school this year and, contrary to the concerns of those around us, has been doing well. I am grateful that my child takes the daily medication without much resistance. To express my gratitude, I want to give my child a gift they want. I hope that this year, too, my child will receive the present they wish for and continue to believe in Santa as a young child.

170) Ato (7 years old): My child is an eight-year-old named Ato who still believes in Santa Claus. More than any material gift in the world, what I want most is ‘Dad.’ I want to give my child a project mood lamp as a present so that they won’t be afraid during long nights, can have good dreams, and grow up to be a child with big dreams. Even though Dad is absent, I hope that theyI can grow up to be a wonderful person, so I am plying for a Christmas present.

171) Dgongi (7 years old): This is a child who feels sad about receiving only one present from their mother at Christmas. I think my child would be very happy if they could receive presents from several people with good hearts.

172) Hyeoni (7 years old): Hyeoni, who loves sports, wishes to run freely in new sneakers instead of always wearing old shoes handed down from their older sibling. I hope this wish comes true for Christmas.

173) KimDoPal (7 years old):Every year, Santa’s presents are created using a synthesis program for an eight-year-old child who still believes in Santa. The child has ADHD and is difficult and doesn’t listen, but always looks forward to Christmas. They wonder, ‘I don’t listen and tell a lot of lies, will I still get presents?’ This year, too, I want to bring joy to my child.

174) NyangSuni (7 years old): When my child entered elementary school, I couldn’t even afford to buy a proper outfit, but my child bravely completed the first year, and I am so grateful. To wrap up the year, I want to give my daughter a surprise gift that she loves

175) DalLuna (7 years old): This year, my child entered elementary school, and I am also studying, so even though I try to take care of my child, they always seem to feel disappointed. I have several health issues, starting with lumbar spinal stenosis, hypothyroidism, and vertigo, so it’s not easy for me to play with my child. Recently, my daughter often talks about her father, cries, and throws tantrums, saying she wishes her dad were here. Seeing this makes my heart ache even more. My child says that their Christmas wish is for their dad. My daughter feels upset that she is the only one in her class without a dad, so I am applying in hopes of making her feel a little happier.

176) Soccer Star (7 years old): I am raising a first-grade elementary school boy. My child, who claims to resemble Son Heung-min, is attending a soccer class and dreams of becoming a soccer player. Last year, he was obsessed with drawing and spent all day drawing, but this year he has found a new dream. I am proud that he can focus on one thing, and for the upcoming Christmas, I want to give this wonderful older brother, who takes good care of his younger sibling and works hard at sports, a gift of soccer shoes or a soccer uniform.

177) Cutie (7 years old): I live alone with my child, and winter always feels lonely and is spent in solitude. This Christmas, I want to buy my child the present they wish for and create happy memories together, so I am applying.

178) DdongJuni (7 years old): First grader Ddongjooni is a boy who loves science. He especially enjoys areas like assembling, folding, combining, and spatial intelligence, so for Christmas, he wishes to receive a ‘6-level mini car combination origami book.’ Please give hope to the wonderful science-loving Ddongjooni as a Christmas gift.

179) Yeon (7 years old): I hope I can give my child a present so that we can spend Christmas joyfully and meaningfully.

180) Sunny (7 years old): My child has a developmental delay and has been learning to swim. Now, in the third year, it’s time to change swimsuits. Since my child’s gross motor skill development is slow, even after three years, they are just now learning freestyle. Now that they are picking up speed in learning, I hope that during this winter break, they can progress to backstroke or breaststroke, so I want to give them a new swimsuit as a gift.

181) Dumpling (7 years old): I am a welfare recipient, so I feel very sorry that I cannot properly prepare gifts. I work hard for the future, but I only feel sorry toward my child.

182) Shiny (7 years old): My child has severe intellectual and brain lesion disabilities and uses a ventilator 24 hours a day, spending all their time lying down. This year, at age 8, my child entered the first grade at a special school. Because their health is not good, a teacher comes to our home twice a week for lessons. We are always busy and tired with outpatient treatments and rehabilitation, but my child is bravely doing well. Earlier this year, my child was in such a bad condition that they had to go to the intensive care unit due to an emergency, but they overcame it and are now doing well at home. I want to give a Christmas present for being so strong.

183) Puppy (7 years old): I am raising an 8-year-old daughter. She became a first grader in elementary school this year, and I am so proud and impressed by how well she is adapting to school and trying hard to study. I think she would be really happy to receive a present for Christmas, so I am applying. Thank you.

184) Shinda (6 years old): I am a mother of three children. I am resending this because I accidentally wrote the same letter before—thank you for your understanding. Among my three children, the two older ones have illnesses, so I often cannot pay enough attention to the youngest, which always makes me feel sorry. My eldest daughter has epilepsy and is undergoing jaw correction, and my eldest son is seeing a psychiatrist and receiving allergy treatment. Because of this, I inevitably cannot spend much personal time with my healthy youngest child. I myself have panic disorder attacks and ADHD, so I am on Medical Aid Type 1. Although I work part-time, every day is a struggle just to get by, and I constantly feel that I am not able to provide enough care or a good environment for my children. My youngest, who will start first grade next year, already understands our difficult family situation and behaves maturely without ever throwing a tantrum, which breaks my heart. I am already worried that I will have to work this Christmas and won’t be able to spend time with my children. Even though I am an inadequate mother, I will always do my best and live with strength. Thank you for reading my humble letter. I wish you good health always.

185) HaBin (6 years old): For economic reasons, it seems like I always have to wear hand-me-down clothes. I want to buy my child some pretty new clothes!

186) Tyrannosaurus (6 years old):  I am a mother raising my young son alone. My son has a developmental disability and is receiving ongoing therapy, but he is always cheerful and curious. These days, he talks about dinosaurs and insects all day long, and recently, he has become interested in soccer, carrying a small ball and wandering around the house with a big smile. That pure smile is the greatest strength in my life.

However, reality is never easy. It is difficult to cover both his therapy and living expenses, and I feel heartbroken when I cannot celebrate special days for him. With Christmas approaching, my son asks, “Will Santa Claus come to our house?” Each time, I smile and say, “Of course, Santa will definitely come,” but inside, my heart aches. That’s why, this Christmas, I want to give my child a warm memory as a gift.

187) SoonDori (6 years old): Thank you for your generous support ❤️ I am applying because I want to give a Christmas present to my second daughter, the princess among my four lovely children. She is seven years old and wants many things, but as her mother, I am always sorry that I cannot afford to buy them for her. I want to give Soyul a happy Christmas present♡

188) Jia (6 years old): I am a single mom on government assistance raising my child. I am applying because I am in a difficult financial situation and I really need help. My child is eagerly looking forward to a gift from Santa Claus for Christmas, but I cannot prepare any gifts due to my poor circumstances. Please help my child have a meaningful day on Christmas.

189) Pretty Princess (6 years old): My daughter will start going to school next year, and she’s worried that I won’t be able to buy her a school bag, so she keeps checking every day and asking when I can buy her one. I’m applying because I want to buy her a school bag for Christmas and make sure she can be at ease and have a warm winter.

190) BokHee (6 years old): My little life, which used to be so unfamiliar, is about to start elementary school. Motherhood found me so suddenly and was strange at first, but that unfamiliar time has passed, and now whenever someone calls out “Mom!” on the street, I automatically turn around. I’m grateful for the child who helped me grow, and I want to give a meaningful gift to my child, who is going to become a real student now.

191) BomBomi (6 years old): When Christmas season comes around, my adorable child looks out the window before they fall asleep and calls out, “I’ve been listening to Mom and studying hard all year! Santa, please make sure to bring me a present!” I don’t know how long my child will keep doing this, but please help my child keep their faith in Santa Claus.

192) ChuChu (6 years old): ChuChu is a six-year-old girl who is very interested in pretty clothes these days. She wears comfortable pants when she goes to daycare, but she wants to wear a pretty skirt on special days. She would like to receive a sparkly, lacy winter dress from Santa Claus. We are always grateful for your meaningful support.

193) BiSooni (6 years old): I’ve always raised my child alone and have never been able to give them a lot of Christmas gifts, so I want to bring my child joy with a sponsored Christmas gift this year!

194) BbongBbing (6 years old): I’ve always been heartbroken that my child has never had a father since they were born. So, I’m grateful that my child is always so bright and cheerful. I want to make Christmas a happy time for my child. Thank you.

195) Little One (6 years old): The youngest child of an exhausted mother, who has never whined or gotten a chance to go out, is now all grown up and will start first grade next year. He’s the baby of the family, but he acts like the oldest son and never complains even though all his clothes and toys are hand-me-downs. I feel sorry and sorrowful when I see him seeking a warm embrace from his older brother because his mother is too busy with work. I want to be worthy of being called a mother this Christmas, so I am applying for this gift.

196) Lil’ Girl (5 years old): Every Christmas, I wanted to create good memories with my child, but it was such a financial burden and living expenses were too high, so I’ve never been able to spend a nice time with my child. If I’m selected for this gift, I think my child will be very happy.

197) Baby Bird (5 years old): I found out I was pregnant on the day I gave birth. At the time, I was so deeply in debt and owed so many fines that I thought I couldn’t afford to raise a child, so I considered adoption. However, when I looked at my newborn baby, it didn’t feel right. After a lot of hard thinking and careful consideration, I decided to raise my child. I had a herniated disc and torn knee cartilage before I got pregnant, and I should have had surgery, but I wasn’t able to. And my health is poor, so I can’t work, which means I have no income. I live on government assistance for single parents and low-income households. I would like to give my child a board game that will naturally teach them focus, rules, and cooperation!

198) WonBin (5 years old): I would like to give my child a winter blanket for Christmas. It’s getting colder now, so I want to give my child a warm blanket. Thank you.

199) Miracle (5 years old): I’m raising a five-year-old boy who loves to build toys. I’ve been working ever since he was born. I’m a contract worker, so I have to find a new job every single year, but thankfully I found work and did well. However, this year, I failed to find work and had a really hard time. I tried working a part-time job delivering cards, but walking more than 20,000 steps every day worsened my plantar fasciitis and eventually led to inflammation in my feet, so I had to quit that job. My feet were in pain and I was mentally exhausted, so I became irritable with my son without meaning to. I lived even more frugally as I struggled to support a family of four on unemployment benefits. I was poorer than when I was working, and I wondered if I really had to keep living like this. One day we went to the beach to play, and my child wanted to rent a tube. When I said no, he said, “Mom, are you worried about saving money?” I was so shocked to hear such a young child say something like that… Christmas is coming soon, and my son is still an innocent child who believes in Santa Claus. This year, he took all of his sensitive mother’s annoyances and anger due to the job market, and gave her laughter and happiness in return. I’m applying because I really want to give my child a Christmas present and say that it’s from Santa Claus. I would like to give my child blocks because he loves to build toys!

200) Summer (5 years old): My son is five years old. He has severe autism spectrum disorder, so he endures a variety of difficult treatments every day. My son believes in Santa Claus, and he trusts that if he diligently receives his treatments, listens to his mom, and gets along well with his friends, Santa Claus will definitely bring him a gift at Christmas. 🙂 Our family lives on basic livelihood assistance, so in our situation it would be very difficult to provide my son’s desired Christmas gift. I sincerely hope that a special Santa will deliver a gift to Summer, who is bravely receiving all his treatments, and become a source of hope for him. With this earnest wish, I am applying for this gift!! Thank you.

201) Donee (5 years old): I am raising a six-year-old boy! I’m so grateful that he has grown up well and that he is becoming more and more mature, healthy, and strong, and that he listens to me well. I am applying because I think he’ll be really happy if he receives a Christmas gift to celebrate the end of the year. Thank you.

202) DdongMini (5 years old): My child believes that characters from cartoons like Hello Carbot and Superman are real. This year, my child’s wish is to receive a Super Carbot from Santa Claus. My child always listens very well to adults. Please grant my child’s wish and give them hope.

203) Princess (3 years old): As my daughter grows, she seems to become more aware of the absence of a father in her life. These days, she keeps asking when Dad is coming home, so I’m very worried. On Christmas Day, she will probably feel jealous of her friends and their families, so I’m applying to give her a gift that she’ll like and create happy memories for her. I hope I’m selected so my daughter can have a wonderful Christmas.

204) Eve Gift (5 years old): As my child grows, their needs increase one by one, but the weight of making a living and raising my child always forces me to give up. These days, as my child runs around and continues to grow, I often see my child feeling uncomfortable because they’ve grown out of their shoes. Buying new shoes for my child may seem like a small thing, but it really requires a big decision in our family. I want to give my child a comfortable pair of pretty shoes so they can run around in them. Raising a child alone isn’t easy, but I’m always grateful to see my child growing up so brightly. If you could help me give my child a pair of shoes that fits them perfectly and bring warmth to their heart, it would really mean so much to me.

205) SookSooki (4 years old): Thank you so much for your precious support! ❤️ I’m applying for a Christmas present for my daughter, who is the third princess of four lovely siblings. My daughter has a lively personality and is always very proactive, so she loves drawing and making crafts, but I always feel sorry that I can’t buy her all the art supplies she needs. I want to give my daughter a happy Christmas ❤️

206) Lil’ Boy (4 years old): My son has a disability. He is on the autism spectrum and can’t speak yet, but he understands what people say to him. My son has limited interests, but he really loves blocks. He taps the blocks and stacks them up one by one. He’s not that interested in other toys, but he really loves blocks, so I would love to give him new blocks as a gift 🙂

207) DeDe (4 years old): Every Christmas, I’ve applied for a practical gift for my child’s development based on my own opinion rather than my child’s thoughts. This year, however, I applied because I want to give my child what they want and like the most. My child is waiting for Christmas without any fussing or crying because they are hoping to receive the Teenieping blanket that they’ve always wanted. 🙂 I hope my child can confidently learn how to sleep separately after receiving the Teenieping blanket as a gift!

208) Lottery (4 years old): I’m a working mom raising my four-year-old daughter in Incheon. Christmas is coming up soon, and I’m already nervous about what to get her as a gift. She’s grown so much, and now she understands what it means to have or not have a father. Until last year, I just kind of glossed over it, but now she understands to some extent… 2025 has been a year filled with many worries. My daughter’s favorite unicorn Crocs and socks are all too small now. She’s been wearing them since she was 3, but I think it’s time to let them go now. It seems like kids grow out of their shoes and socks faster than their clothes. I want to give my child shoes and socks with her current favorite character while she’s still a toddler, not when she’s already grown up. My daughter is completely obsessed with Heartsping. She sings and dances to their song every day. I want to buy her a toy, but Heartsping toys are so expensive…

209) EunYoo (4 years old): It seems like only yesterday that I held my baby in my arms and looked into those big, dark eyes, but four years have already passed, and my baby is now a cheerful child who runs around, laughs, and chirps happily. As a mother who hasn’t grown as fast as her child, I’m still clumsy and awkward, but I’m trying to become a better person every day. I feel a bit sad that my adorable and beautiful child’s early childhood is over, and it hasn’t been the best year, but on the other hand, I’m also proud that my child is growing up bright and healthy. I’ll work hard to make next year a fun and happy year for my child. Thank you for always giving me strength ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

210) Chubby (4 years old): Christmas is a happy and joyful time, and my child believes in Santa Claus. My child is an innocent four-year-old who knows about Christmas presents. When I tell my child that if they cry or don’t listen to their mom, Santa won’t bring them a present, my child stops crying and listens well. I’m applying for this gift because I want to make the 25th a happy and memorable day for my child, not just a regular holiday. Thank you.

211) Snowy (4 years old): I am not requesting an exact gift; I’m just listing the gift details! (Desired gift = shoes) My child is just starting to talk now, so they are asking for a gift! My child loves playing outside and going to the playground, so my child is asking for new shoes. I would love to give my child shoes 🙂 hehe

212) Roundy (4 years old): The kickboard I bought 3 years ago is a chair type, so my child still rides on it. But they have been growing so fast that I feel bad seeing them riding it with their legs too long for it and too strong for it now. I hope Santa Claus will give them a new kickboard this Christmas. This time I want to see them standing on a kickboard and breezing fast through the winter wind. 🎅💫

213) DdoDdungi (4 years old): My child is 5 years old and only wants to wear princess dresses. Dresses are so expensive to buy, so I can’t afford to buy her a variety of clothes. At daycare, her friends come in wearing shoes that light up, and my daughter keeps asking me to buy those for her too. I want to buy my child the dresses and shoes she really wants as a gift, so I’m sending this request.

214) Puppy (4 years old): I’m a single mother raising a boy. He’s now four years old, and he’s starting to express himself quite well and even asks for things he needs. While playing with his friends at kindergarten, my son, who has recently become interested in spinning tops, said he wanted one. I’ve already told him I’d buy one for him as a Christmas present, and it would be wonderful if we could use the Christmas gift support to give him a spinning top and board. I sincerely appreciate your generous donation, which will make Christmas a happy day for my child.

215) Love (2 years old):  Even with a disabled mother, My little Love gives so much love and adores their mommy so much. While attending kindergarten they see their friends’ families and how different they are from our own. Her innocent “Why?” breaks my heart all the time and her unintentional honesty makes me feel small. Even paying rent, utilities, and childcare on time is a burden. If they had a father like everyone else they could do all the usual family trips, picnics, casual meals, and shopping trips that I alone can’t provide. As a frail mother I find the new parenting environment overwhelming and I feel a sense of regret that I can only repay the love my child shows me with all of my own love for her. Yet, perhaps thanks to this, my little Love is a child who shows gratitude for all the little things in life, rather than material things. Being able to go for walks together, fold origami pieces together, and the books we read together are all the things my Love shows gratitude for. It’s so admirable even when I see her off in the morning and tell her to have a good day that she always says “thank you” to me for saying that. She always says that she’s grateful for the things we do rather than anything we buy. Although it’s not that I never buy things for her, it’s just that I’m forced to buy only the inexpensive items to prioritize functionality over appearance. So, I’d like to give my child a pretty pair of shoes because my daughter cried in envy at her friend’s shiny shoes. I’d like to give her something worth her gratitude. It would be a Christmas present for both me as well to earn a worthy “thank you” from my Love.

216) Tori (3 years old): I’m a single mother in my 30s raising a cute 3-year-old girl. My child has recently been very passionately studying Korean letters and numbers but we don’t have a comfortable children’s sofa where she can sit and study. We had a children’s sofa, but it was so worn out that we had to get rid of it. My child is uncomfortable without it so it would be really great to have a children’s sofa where she can study and draw at the table. My daughter always asks me to buy her sofa, she even asks me every night before bed. I’m applying here because I think it would make her so happy to receive a children’s sofa as a gift this Christmas. Thank you.

217) Lil’ One (3 years old): After losing my job I got into a car accident in May and now I have a new job but I can’t work full time because of my child’s emotional issues. With such a low income right now I can’t even dream about being able to buy a gift for them…… so I’m applying for help to get them a gift..

218) Princess (3 years old): I am a single mother raising a child alone, without any help from my family and without any relatives. Giving birth and raising a child alone is much harder than I thought. Not only is it hard to take care of a baby, but having a baby makes it difficult to find a proper job and make ends meet. What’s more, my baby gets sick so often that I have to go to the hospital nonstop and they get hospitalized about twice a year, making it even harder to find a job. As soon as my baby turned 100 days old I dropped my baby off at daycare from very early in the morning so that I could go out and do deliveries and work this part-time job before picking up my baby in the afternoon. But it’s still not enough to raise a baby… So I’m also studying to get a stable job for the future. Until now, I couldn’t buy my child a single toy or set of clothes, and I managed to get by with local charities or donations from people around me, but these days, it’s become difficult to even receive these things… Because of this situation, I always feel sorry for my child… Now that they’re a little older, they ask for shoes, clothes, and toys but it’s difficult to make a living so I can’t buy them these things. I told them that they will receive a Christmas present and whenever they cry that reminder makes them immediately stop their tears. They have been asking for Santa Claus for months and checking all the time that Santa will be back this year with a Christmas present. If Santa returns this year with a gift for my baby they will be so so so happy. And my heart will be warmed and even happier to see my baby’s happiness. Raising a child is tiring and difficult, but I think I can endure it by seeing my baby’s happy face. If I see my baby receive a gift then this winter won’t feel anything but warm~ ^^

219) Idol Roy (3 years old): As Christmas approaches I want to give my child many many different experiences. Through my gift I want them to experience just how very joyful it is that they were born into this world.

220) Sunshine (3 years old): My child is the age where they believe in Santa so I want to make sure they get a Christmas gift~

221) Gaette (3 years old): My child is now 4 years old and growing up to be a very active boy. He likes to play outside, but he is so envious of the bikes his friends ride at the playground. He keeps asking me to buy him one but when I looked it up it was so expensive that I couldn’t buy it for him. He always borrows his friends’ bikes and rides them for a short time. Every time I see his upset face when he wants to ride more but has to give the bike back, my heart aches. Whenever that happens, I give him a jelly to console his disappointment, and whenever we go home holding hands I blame myself for not being able to buy him as much as he wants because of our financial situation. So I am sending this application to give my child the gift that he really wants for Christmas.

222) Princess (3 years old): I’m a single mother raising a 36-month-old. As my child grows, their awareness of Christmas, Santa Claus, and gifts becomes clearer. And as my child grows, meeting their wants and needs becomes more financially demanding than I expected. ㅜㅜ

I was feeling guilty for not being able to provide for them, so I decided to apply here so that I can give them a wonderful gift! Thank you so much.

223) WooGongi (3 years old): I want to give my child a meaningful gift

224) Little Piggy (3 years old): My child is the youngest of 4 brothers, so until now they have only had the toys passed down from what their older brothers used to play with. So I want to gift them something that is new and all their own.

225) Yooha (3 years old): I’m a mom who keeps breaking promises. I promised to give her a gift this Christmas, but I’m afraid I’ll be a lying mother again this Christmas. Due to financial difficulties, I’m applying with a sincere hope that my daughter, who has a beautiful smile, will be able to smile and express herself even more beautifully with this gift.

226) ShiOni (3 years old): Because they are my second born, they always only receive handed down things or used items. They love Hello Carbot and Robocar Poli so much, but I only can give them toys that are missing an arm or missing parts. This Christmas, instead of giving them a broken hand-me-down I want to give a real Hello Carbot watch or a robot called Storm as a gift. I am applying here for support to give this gift.

227) Ethan (3 years old): Since my child’s birthday and Christmas are only a week apart, we used to celebrate them together, but this is their third Christmas and they are old enough now to want both their birthday and Christmas to each be celebrated. So I am applying here for a Christmas gift. I want to celebrate my child for all the growth over this year as they grew up from a baby into a child.

228) Ddomi (3 years old): As the winter approaches, I don’t have a long padding jacket that my child needs to keep warm. I also can’t afford to buy toys either. They are really into robot toys lately, so I’m applying with my child for that as a gift. I hope my child has a warm Christmas. Thank you.

229) Princess (3 years old): I’m a single mother of a 34-month-old daughter. Since her birthday is December 27th, we always celebrate Christmas and her birthday together. Due to our financial situation, I’m on welfare, and I’m raising a disabled son who’s about to graduate from middle school. I’m also constantly dealing with my child getting bullied at school bullying and even voice phishing scams are bringing me to tears that there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t cry as I raise my 2 children alone. It’s so hard and the most difficult decision to raise them alone. But with my health issues I won’t have any more children so I’m doing my best to raise them both. My daughter, who can be stubborn and fall into tantrums every now and then, she’s still the biggest mama’s girl. She’s been wanting a bike lately. Her nickname, “Princess,” and she loves all the Princess characters so I would like to get her a bike that has the design of those characters on it but I need your support to be able to give such a big gift to my wonderful little princess. ^^

230) PooPuppy (2 years old): I am a single mother, and my child is currently 32 months old. I have been receiving psychiatric treatment at the hospital for the past four years, to the point where I am unable to properly raise my baby on my own. So my child and I are currently living with my parents who are farmers in the countryside so that they can help me care for my child. My mother is elderly and has severe arthritis, making it difficult for her to move properly. Yet, for the sake of my young child, she lifts up her grandson with a bright smile, pretending like she doesn’t feel the pain or exhaustion. It bring tears to my eyes as I watch my mother head out to do her arduous farm work, and I feel pangs of regret for my own life, and I infinitely sad for my child as well. However, since I am a mother too and also a child of my parents, I am striving to overcome all these hardships with strong values and sincerity. Currently, I am unable to work due to psychiatric treatment and am living off government subsidies. However, I want to find myself through job training, find what I want to do, and become a mother who can be of some help to those who are having a harder time than me.☘︎

231) Joon (2 years old): I have been raising my child for 30 months now as a single mother. I’ve really felt how hard finances are when you are raising a child all alone. I want to take my child to nice places and buy them nice toys but I just don’t have the finances for it. Lately they are super into Carbot robots but I can’t buy them the toys.. This Christmas they would be so happy if they got a robot as a toy.

232) Chairman (2 years old): I’m a single mother raising a child who’s just turned 2 and another child who’s about to turn 3. I became a single mother during my pregnancy, and now I live with my child in an old villa registered under the baby’s father’s name. The house is so old that mold easily grows everywhere, and even on rainy days, the humidity fills the house, making me constantly worry about my child’s health. Raising a child in this damp environment and the smells that permeate the walls weigh heavily on my mind. Furthermore, the area around my house is noisy and unsafe, leaving me constantly on edge. While I can deal with it, as a mother I want my children to grow up in a safe and warm environment.

Before giving birth, I was diagnosed with stage 0 cervical cancer and underwent a conization. After a difficult delivery, I was told my placenta hadn’t fully expelled and that further treatment would be necessary. However, there’s no OB/GYN nearby, so I haven’t been able to continue treatment. Since the surgery, my physical strength has deteriorated significantly, and I’m easily exhausted by even the smallest tasks. Daily routines with my baby can often be overwhelming. Still, I cherish every moment with my child, so I persevere through each day. I’m currently living on welfare. I’m keeping to the bare minimum, but I lack the resources to cover moving expenses or create a better environment for my child. I can handle it, but I want to provide a better environment for my child. My greatest wish is for my child to grow up without any needs.

233) Love (2 years old): I’m a single mother living with my elderly, ailing mother and my baby. My baby is still young, but my mother is very ill and unable to help me with caring for them. This leaves me unable to go to work and thus with no income. Life is incredibly difficult, to the point where it’s hard to describe. We live in an old and severely deteriorated house. Appliances, some of which are 15-20 years old, are broken beyond repair, making life incredibly difficult. Because of our current financial situation, I’m unable to provide adequate care for my baby, and this breaks my heart. I’ve always bought used clothes, shoes, and toys for my baby and I clean them up but when they are worn out I feel bad and guilty towards my baby. Now that my baby understands the difference between new and old, I’d like to give them a gift this Christmas that is brand new, not a used. With a sincere heart I’m asking here for a Christmas gift for my baby. I think my baby would love this gift, and I’d love to give her the Mimi dollhouse, which I also had always wanted when I was her age too.

234) Star (2 years old): This will be my three-year-old’s third Christmas. However, due to my financial situation, it’s difficult to buy them a proper Christmas present. My child loves cars so much that they ask for one whenever they see a car toy, but I feel bad that I can’t afford to them. I’m applying because I want to give them a car toy as a Christmas present that they will love. Thank you for your support.

235) Toshil (2 years old): They have only ever had handed-down shoes but this time for my child I want to give them new shoes as a gift^^ Something not handed-down from anyone but something that belongs just to my Toshil-i, I desperately need to give them such a gift

236) Baby Jjang (2 years old): Hello, my oldest child often gets sick, so I haven’t been able to do much for my younger one. That’s why I’m applying. Thank you always.

237) Baby Healthy (2 years old): My baby was born underweight at 2.5kg and has been wearing size 80 clothes up until now, even though they’re almost two years old. They’ve grown a lot recently, so I’d like to give them a size 90 winter coat or winter outfit as a Christmas gift.

238) Jackpot (2 years old): My baby is still so young, but thinking about spending a second Christmas without their dad makes me so sad and brokenhearted 🙁 I’d love to create happy Christmas memories for my baby.

239) Lulu (1 years old): It’s my baby’s second Christmas. Last winter, I thought they were too young to understand anything, so I didn’t do much. But now they go to daycare, so I think they’ll understand that it’s a special day! I’m really looking forward to it.

240) Potato (1 years old): It’s the second Christmas I’ll be spending with my child. Nothing has really changed since last year, and things are still difficult, but I want to give my child a gift they’ll love again this year, so I’m applying. My child’s birthday is close to Christmas, and although I’d love to give a present myself, our financial situation doesn’t allow it. I’d be so grateful for this opportunity for help. My child is starting to develop awareness and self-recognition, so I want to see their joy and leave them with happy memories. Thank you.

241) Kaka (1 years old): I’m a mother raising my 17-month-old baby, Haesoo, on my own. Since my baby is still so young, everything in the world feels new and sparkly. I want  to make Christmas a truly special memory for Haesoo. Raising a child alone can be very challenging at times, but whenever Haesoo smiles, I find the strength to overcome any hardship. Wherever I feel the absence of her father, I tell myself looking at my baby, “It’s okay, mommy will do anything for you,” and that thought has helped me get through each day.

This Christmas, I want Haesoo to feel that they they are the most loved child in the world–I want to give my all as both mom and dad. I hope that even a small gift can become a warm and lasting memory for Haesoo.

242) Kong-soon-i (1 years old): I am a single mother raising my child alone. My financial situation is very difficult, and although I want to work, my circumstances don’t allow it right now, so I currently have no income. As my child grows, their needs keep increasing, but there’s so little I can provide, and that weighs heavily on my heart. With Christmas approaching, I want my child to experience the same joy as other children–to receive a gift and have a happy smile–but it breaks my heart that I can’t prepare anything on my own. My child is still very young, and receiving a gift is probably one of the greatest joys at that age, yet I can’t even give them that. If possible, I would be deeply grateful for any help in giving my child a small Christmas gift. It would become an unforgettable and heartwarming memory for my child, and seeing their happiness would also give me great strength.

243) Pretty (1 years old): I’m a mom raising my 16-month-old son, who is like a daughter to me. When we go outside, people often ask if he’s a girl, and somehow that comforts my heart a little since I don’t have a daughter. He’s at the age where he loves going out, so we walk around the neighborhood every day. But he’s started refusing the stroller, so he ends up walking on his own, which gets dangerous when he wanders near the road. I wish I could at least put him in a small ride on push car for his safety 🙂

244) Yongyong-i (1 years old): Thank you so much for this precious opportunity to receive support ❤️. I’m applying because I want to give a Christmas gift to the ‘little prince’ of our loving four siblings. Ever since our sweet youngest, Roy, joined our family, he has been growing up happily with his sisters even though our situation is hard. I’d love to give Roy a happy, memorable Christmas. ♡

245) Ddo-kking-i (1 years old): I am a single mother raising my 13-month-old baby. I grew up living in an orphanage from a young age, so my dream was always to have a ordinary, loving family. I wanted my baby to grow up with both a mom and a dad, and later, when they get married, have a family to rely on. But since I couldn’t make that dream come true, I feel very sorry for my child. Even so, I want to raise my baby with all my strength so they never feel lacking compared to others. Our financial situation is difficult, so I can’t give my child many nice things, but this year is my baby’s very first Christmas since being born, and I’d like to spend it meaningfully together. That’s why I’m applying.

246) Dami-dami (1 years old): Damhee started walking around her first birthday. But the only walking shoes we have are summer shoes or secondhand shoes that are too big, so I’ve been wishing for a pair of walking sneakers that fit her properly and can be worn in all seasons. Her feet are quite narrow, so adjustable Velcro shoes tend to be more expensive. I’m applying this Christmas in hopes of getting a pair. A light pair of shoes in size 120-125 would be perfect for her.

247) Baby Kiwi bird (infant): I receive basic welfare benefits as a low income family, and because our financial situation is difficult, I’ve never been able to properly buy my child even a single toy. As a parent, it breaks my hear and even makes me feel guilty. This is my child’s very first Christmas, and because “firsts” are so meaningful, I really want to give them a gift this time.

248) Yeol-mae (infant): I am a 17-year-old single mother raising my 7-month-old daughter. She will be 300 days old on Christmas. Until now, many people in our neighborhood have helped me while I raised her alone, but I’ve never been in a position to repay their kindness, so I always feel indebted. I want to prepare 300-day rice cakes to give to those people as a thank-you gift. I truly believe my baby has grown up loved because the whole community helped raise her. That’s why, instead of a Christmas gift for my baby, I really want to prepare rice cakes. I hope we are selected so that we can show our appreciation to our kind neighbors!

249) Junie (infant): Raising my baby alone with no one to rely on is often exhausting and difficult. Especially when I think about finances, the future can feel overwhelming. Even in these hard circumstances, I really want to create warm memories for my baby. So this Christmas, I’d love to give them a gift like a Fisher-price laugh and learn house or a ride-on toy car. If we could receive help through his program, it would ease my worries and be a huge comfort to me.

250) Luna (infant): Our precious daughter Luna is my second child–whom I protected and brought into this world as a single mother. She is the baby I fought so hard to keep, even when I wanted to give up on everything. I gathered the courage to ask for help, endured a difficult and risky pregnancy, and held on to her with everything I had. She’s still less than six months old, so everything in this world is unfamiliar and scary to her, but she recently started her first solid foods and is experiencing more and more new things as she grows. This Christmas will be Luna’s very first Christmas since being born, and I want to give her a meaningful gift that will remain a deep and precious memory for our family. Our family struggles financially because my first child has a severe disability, and our basic welfare benefits needs to cover both medical treatments and living expense, making it hard to get my children Christmas gifts. I truly hope my sincere heart is well received and that my children can have happy memories. Thank you so much.

251) Petite Prince (7 years old): I am a mother raising an 8-year-old son. From age five to seven, my child received speech therapy and worked hard to keep up with his peers despite his slower development. After that, from age seven until early this year, he received sensory integration therapy, and he is currently continuing with occupational therapy. At school, he is classified as a slow learner, so his homeroom teacher kindly stays after school to provide him with one-on-one guidance. Even so, my child is always bright, and he claps for himself even at small achievements, saying, “I did great today!” He has such a beautiful heart and positive attitude. We are no financially well-off, so Christmas gifts are something I worry about every year, but this time, I’d like to give him joy and encouragement that fill his heart.

252) Doo-jji (2 years old): As Christmas approaches, children get excited, but my heart grows heavy. I want to give my children even a small gift, but the reality is that it’s hard to cover even daily living expenses and childcare costs. I hope that small gift can allow my children to feel the warmth of the world, and bring smiles and courage to our little family of three.

253) Blessing (7 years old): My child is in first grade and still believes Santa Claus is real, so they are excited for a Christmas present. They’ve been wanting an official Labubu dolls so I really want to give them to my child.

254) KkoMool-i (5 years old): I’m applying for this program because my little one has never really had a proper Christmas or birthday celebration, as I’m a late starter in my studies and life has been hectic. I wasn’t able to celebrate Christmas last year either. I’d like to send this message to my child, “To my beloved little one–may you always be healthy and happy.”

255) WonYoung (8 years old): I’m working as a welfare assistant at the community center through Family self-sufficiency program. The area we live in is undergoing redevelopment, so we have to move out without receiving any support. With moving expenses and the cost of securing a new place, every day feels like pinching pennies. Still, I want to give my child at least a small gift for Christmas, so I’m applying for this program. My child wants Labubu dolls, but it’s more expensive than I expected, so I couldn’t buy it, and it weighs heavily on my heart.

256) Momo (8 years old): Since last August, we’ve been struggling because of a car accident and a store relocation during which we were scammed on the interior design service, leaving us unable to work and causing our debt to grow. My child is already excited about what Christmas gift they might receive this year, but even 10,000 won feels like too much for me right now, so I couldn’t say anything and have been worrying. The KUMFA has helped me in the past during hard times, allowing me to give my child happiness on special occasions, and I’m very grateful. I feel ashamed for applying again, but if possible, I hope Jae-ha can receive a surprise gift from Santa again this Christmas.

257) Ian (infant): I gave birth as a single mother. This will be my baby’s first Christmas, and although I cannot provide much, I want my baby to experience a Christmas that feels full and warm, without feeling lacking. That’s why I’m applying.

258) LuElsa (13 years old): Christmas comes every year, but as always, we are facing another holiday with many things lacking. This year, I want to give my child a gift that will truly make them happy, that’s why I’m applying.

259) LuAna (12 years old): I’m applying because I want my child to have an enjoyable and happy Christmas this winter.
